How much do you charge?

Some work will be charged as a fixed fee that we agree upon (such as building a website). Other work will be charged per hour and the fee depends on whether it is regular monthly work, or on a more ad-hoc basis.

As a guide, my ‘per hour’ rate for ongoing clients (a client who I work for every month) is £29.50.

However, I am open to discussing your needs, where you are at, and what you can afford. I believe in fairness and fair-trade.

How do I pay you?

I send out monthly invoices which are paid into my account via online banking.

How do we communicate?

Since the majority of my work is online we work via email, telephone and zoom.

Are you a VA (Virtual Assistant)?

No (although lots of people call me that). What’s in a name? Generally a VA is a person who works remotely doing administrative tasks for others–imagine a secretary who works from home. Whilst some of my work does involve admin, my day is mainly made up of creative tasks that would generally be considered outside of the role of a VA, such as copy writing, building Squarespace website and marketing. Plus, the word virtual irks me a little….I’m very much a real person 😁
